Lara Mowery

Lara Mowery is the Global Head of Distribution. In this role, Lara focuses on the creation and delivery of best in class solutions, tools, technology and thought leadership related to Guy Carpenter’s broking functions across regions to deliver a differentiated client experience. She is responsible for placement distribution strategy setting market-leading standards for client/broker/reinsurer interactions. Lara is a member of the Guy Carpenter Executive Committee.

Lara previously held the role of Global Head of the Property Center of Excellence, where she provided framework for the direction of Guy Carpenter’s thought leadership and tactical execution of our property initiatives.

Lara is a member of the American Red Cross Minnesota Region Board of Directors, Hamline University Business School Board and the Broker Advisory Board of the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers (ABIR).

When we think about how we’re going to move forward, reinsurance companies have to keep up. Technology, the way we invest, the way we approach mitigating risk has to evolve.
