Elis Costa
Chief Financial Officer
Elis Costa is the Chief Financial Officer of Guy Carpenter. She is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee as well as a member of the Marsh McLennan Finance Leadership Team.
Prior to joining Guy Carpenter, Elis served as CFO of Marsh's North America brokerage business since 2017. Before joining Marsh, Elis served in CFO roles at Unilever, Bunge and Cargill.
She began her career at Cargill, where she worked in a number of finance roles in Corporate Audit, Strategy and M&A, Treasury, and FP&A in Brazil, India, Switzerland, and the U.S.
Elis has a BA from University Federal de Uberlandia in Brazil and an Executive MBA from the University of Toronto.
Elis has served as the New York Chair of Women in Leadership in Latin America (WILL), an organization focused on supporting the advancement of Latin American businesswomen into leadership and executive positions across all industries.
